Bye-Bye Stretch Marks. How I Faded My Stretch Marks Naturally.

Now. It's really important that you understand this...

Before I share my journey with you. Here is an important message that I feel I need to share with you. What I want to say is that, with or without stretch marks, you are beautiful. Do not dislike your body if you have them, simply try taking care of them to reduce them. My goal is not even to completely remove them. I would be happy with them a bit more reduced. Again, we must not set ourselves too high body standards, because it is not healthy. No one has a perfect body.

OK, you can read on :)

My name is Joan, the creator of Phytopia Remedies. Today, I'm sharing with you the natural method I used to almost completely fade my stretch marks.

The method worked nicely on both the new stretch marks I got as I gained a bit of weight last year. And, as well as the old stretch marks from giving birth to my first baby, Kyle.

Keep reading to discover how I did it along with the tools and application tips.

First, what are stretch marks anyway?

Stretch marks are lines that have a different color than the rest of your skin in that area and occur because of skin’s rapid expansion or contraction. This can be because of weight gain/loss or pregnancy, puberty etc. Many women have them, including myself.

Wait. I've heard stretch mark creams that work like miracles!?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but stretch mark creams might not be the miraculous skin-savers some of us thought they were.

Frank Wang, M.D., an assistant professor and dermatologist at the University of Michigan Health System, led a study that found something that might make pregnant women everywhere very unhappy—but there is an upside.

The study essentially found that stretch mark-reducing creams might be completely ineffective.

"We are finding a lot of changes in the second layer of the skin, which is called the dermis, including changes in elastic fibers, which is what this recent study was about.  What our team haven't published yet is that there are other changes occurring. The problem with a lot of the current creams available is that they don't seem to be able to effectively prevent those changes—or, for that matter, repair those changes once they've occurred. Very few products seem to be effective," said Dr. Wang.

Accordingly to Dr. Wang, oils of cocoa, almond and olive which are other popular stretch mark eliminator, are actually better options.

With these facts, I started my own stretch marks removal treatment routine that I followed like a religion for 4 weeks.

1. Starting with Foods That Fade Stretch Marks

I strongly believe that you are what you eat. So, I did some research online and followed the foods suggested in this particle article: 21 Foods That Help Fade Stretch Marks. I started mixing these into my daily diet. There is nothing crazy on the menu, just natural delicious food that we all enjoy.

My favorite were the sweet potatoes. They are rich in Vitamin A which aids in the development of new skin cells and can help diminish the stretch marks. The grilled sweet potatoes in the picture take about 10 minutes to cook. Yum!

My Home-Spa Stretch Marks Removal Treatment

Here is what I believe played the most critical role to the results I got. This is my very own stretch marks removal beauty routine - home spa edition :)
  1. I cleansed skin with warm water
  2. I pat it dry
  3. I apply a few drops of our very own Phytopia Stretch Mark Removerto the skin and massage it gently for a minute.
  4. Repeat this in the morning and at night before bed
  5. Before going to bed, after applying oil to my stretch marks, I wrap them for 30 minutes in plastic foil, then remove it (never sleep with it)
  6. Exfoliate your skin twice a week in the shower (do not over do it because too much exfoliation can dry your skin). I personally use St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Body Scrub ($3.34, you can get them on Amazon.)

What results did I get?

As you can see from the before/ after my skin was dry and blotchy. It photographed not so pretty. I do believe that after 2 weeks, it is less blotchy and this makes the stretch marks look less obvious.

My skin, being hydrated now, it reflects light better and it photographs much nicely.

Being hydrated makes a lot of difference in how my skin looks and I am happy with the results so far, my goal to fade them is going well. The before photo was taken before I started the treatment and the after photo was taken after 2 weeks of applying Phytopia Stretch Mark Remover, right after I removed the night wrap.

Why does it work better than most oils?

2 words, FDA registered. Our products are registered with the FDA meaning that although we are 100% plants based and natural, they have been backed by science to do what they say they'll do.

Yes, it takes time to have them registered. And yes, it costs more to follow the strict protocols with the production, storage and shipping to be qualified.

But, after you see the awesome results people get and the happy emails we receive on a day to day basis praising the products, it's all well worth it.

Give the Phytopia Stretch Mark Remover Synergy a try! You'll love it and get the results you've been searching for.

Also, every purchase will be eligible for our famous  No-Return™ Policy. It basically says, try it and if you don't love it, you can keep the products and get your money refunded.

That's how confident I am that our products will work for you if you follow the routine.
